I have one more week to wait patiently before the Bloom True Intuitive Painting eCourse with Flora Bowley begins. It feels like time is going in slow motion when I think of it and that is telling me that I’m very much looking forward to this class.
After writing my latest blog post I still somehow sense that this class is meant to be for me this year. I feel that it fits right in with how I see my year unfolding in 2013, what I call my Journey Inward.
I signed up for this class a few months ago then purchased some huge canvasses that I’ll be working on in sizes ranging anywhere from 24″x24″ to 48″x48″. I have already received my order of paints, and this week I will gather all the things around our home that I’ll be able to use in this class. From what I have heard from others who have taken this class before me, it is life transforming.
I already love all that what will come for me with taking this class. I am so ready to awaken my creativity. Stay tuned, I will more than likely be sharing the process and my paintings with you.
I purchased Flora’s beautiful book Brave Intuitive Painting – let go – be bold – unfold! It’s filled with so much goodness and reading her book helps me know without a doubt that I picked the right class to learn to paint intuitively.
Since the beginning of taking the eCourse with Kelly Rae Roberts last fall called Flying Lessons, I have been surrounded and inspired daily by so many wonderful artists and their lovely work. That has nudged me in a different direction than I ever thought seeing myself going. But I am thrilled right now because it feels so right. I want to have fun. I want to explore. I want to see what I can put on canvas.
Now to paint what I call Flora style (big) I knew that my small tabletop easel would not do the trick. I asked my husband if he could build me one. I had found an art easel pattern from Etsy that I really loved. Of course he’s always willing to make me whatever I need.
I plan on having my studio right in our living room where there’s the most natural lighting in our home.
Take a look at what he has created for me so I can have fun with my dream of becoming an artist. (grin)
To my husband Gary, I am forever grateful to you for building me this beautiful art easel and especially for being my biggest supporter in helping me make all of my dreams come true in life. Without you and your unconditional support and inspiration I would not be able to do all that I am doing. Thank you for believing so much in me.
Suzanne xoxo

I think you have the world’s greatest husband ever! What an absolutely gorgeous easel. The wood is so beautiful. What he shows you by making things for you, is that he believes in you. Look at that. He believes in you so much, in your abilities so much, that he will make you the most beautiful easel ever made so you can put all your dreams onto it.
I hope you have an amazing time in Flora’s class. I am sure you will.

Wowa! That is one amazing easel. Also – I love that you’ll be painting in your living room. I didn’t realize you are taking Flora’s class. I’m signed up for it, too! I spent the weekend getting my studio a little better organized and ready for this new adventure. I’m actually a little nervous. I tend to work (very) small, so these big canvases leaning against the wall here are a little out of my comfort zone. Hurray for being challenged! I’m excited for us both!
It is so special that your hubby made this for you. I will really enjoy doing this course with you, but I wish you would hurry up and christen that easel, it’s looking way too clean!!! Happy painting BIG! Your soul will thank you I am sure. Enjoy
